second ✿ video/action for the Layton house
[And on the screen pops the ever so lovable Flora, standing in the kitchen of her home. She really loves not having to live at the inn anymore--it gives her full reign in the kitchen. But as a burned, scientifically-concocted breakfast sits on the table for her little family (really, the only things properly edible are the fruits in the bowl and the juice in the pitcher), today's post has nothing to do with food. In fact, it's all about treatment. And this subject is one Flora is growing to feel very strongly about.]
Good morning, everyone! I hope you're well. I apologize for being a bother, but I've got a few concerns regarding this world, actually. I know everyone's taken up the habit of battling their pokémon and I understand they're quite useful when it comes to defense against wild encounters, but... [She pauses, takes a deep breath, and:]
I truly don't think it's fair to force these little animals to fight! In fact, I think it's cruel. Someone I had spoken to earlier had suspected that we're to train them for war, and that's not right at all. Why should we make them fight for us, especially in a war with no clear meaning? They're just little animals, they shouldn't be forced to battle.
[That was hard. She looks genuinely bothered by this! But after a calm breath, she smiles back at the gear.] Instead, can't we just love and care for them? They're all quite cute. Even the dinosaurs.
Thank you for listening. I hope you all have a good day!
[And with that, she shuts off the gear. She feels better about it, in any case. But she'll stay in the kitchen a little while longer.
Meanwhile, her Gible is currently at the table, trying to steal one of the 'pancakes' she made. Too bad his stubby arms can't reach. But at least, if anyone wants to pretend they've eaten her abominable breakfast, her Gible is willing to help.]

Luke's house is closer than her apartment, and he had mentioned she could stay there whenever she wanted, so she opens the door and yawns, making her way into the kitchen when she hears someone working in it.]]
Is that you, Luke? You wouldn't happen to have any t-
[[When she sees the unknown girl at the counter, her hand is immediately on her Machamp's pokeball, more out of instinct than any real need. This girl doesn't exactly look like a threat.]]
Ah, you're....not Luke.
[[20 picarats for you, Emmy!!!]]
[action]
...I'm not. I assume you know him, seeing as you... forgot to knock before letting yourself in.
[Setting the gear closer, she steps forward. Part of her really wants to run and call for the professor, but... She's a brave girl! She can handle this on her own.]
What's your name, Miss?
[action]
[[Right let's just take our hand off the Pokeball, no need to be needlessly threatening there.]]
I'm Emmy Altava, Professor Layton's assistant. And you are...?
[action]
[She has a key? Even more odd, but... if Luke's entrusted her with one, she must not be that bad. But when she introduces herself as the Professor's assistant, Flora looks quite confused.]
...I thought Luke was the Professor's assistant... I didn't know he had two! [Makes enough sense to her. Flora smiles a bit more.] A pleasure to meet you, Miss Altava! I'm Flora Reinhold, the Professor's...
[Charge? Adopted daughter? How to describe the village... No mind. She will just answer simply.] The Professor's my caretaker. Would you care for some breakfast? I'm sure the Professor and Luke will be down soon enough.
[action] oh my god, i am so late SO LATE
Oh, is that what he told you? Well, Luke happens to be the Professor's second assistant; I'm the first!
[[trololol, luke]]
It's lovely to meet you, Flora; I'm Emmy! Emmy Altava. I'm sorry for barging in like that, but I honestly didn't-
[[...know you existed...]]
-think anyone would be awake this early!
[action] Welcome back :D
[She smiles brightly and gestures to the mess. Consider Flora your new pal!]
I wanted to surprise everyone with breakfast this morning. I do hope you'll join us! I'm sure I made more than enough for everyone.
[action] ty ;w; 1/2
My....goodness, that's awfully kind of you, Flora!
[[OH GOD HOW DOES SHE SOLVE THIS PUZZLE UM UM UM]]

Would you like some help? I know a thing or two about cooking!

How kind of you to offer, Miss Altava! I'm not sure if there's much left to finish, since the pancakes were the hardest bit. Who knew spinach and boysenberry were so hard to cook in a pancake form.
[Hint #1: Don't eat the pancakes.]
But, um... Hmm. [She goes through a mental checklist to see what she's already
bastardizedcooked: she's already completely made a mess of scrambled eggs, and the hash browns--more like hash pink-and-yellows because... Hint #2: Don't eat the hash browns--well. The sausages aren't completely done yet. Not that Flora thoroughly cooked the ones she's already put out. But they're the last bit!]I haven't finished the sausages yet! And if all else, we could make a few more hash browns.

I think making a few more hashbrowns is an excellent idea! When it comes to massive appetites, I-ah...um...
[[....maybe she'll just. refrain from mentioning the fact that she eats a lot. For her own sake.]]
....Luke has one of the biggest I've ever seen!
[[Luke she is. so sorry....]]

[But now they have a gameplan. Just a bit more food, and Flora's still pleasantly uninformed of the horrors she has unleashed on the group. Sliding out of the room for a few moments, she goes to make sure what she's already laid out is rightly set, and to check on the placement of everything and even sets another place for Emmy before sliding back in.]
Alright! Everything looks prepared out there. All we have to do is finish in here and I think it'll be ready!

[[As Flora heads out of the kitchen, Emmy frantically runs around, trying to correct anything she can without throwing any food out, or making it obvious to Flora that she's done anything. In all honesty, there isn't much that can be done, but she tries her best.]]
Excellent! You know, maybe one day you and I can cook something together. A cake, or maybe some biscuits!

That would be very appreciated! I've never really cooked with another, so I'd honestly love to. You're far too kind.
